Do you perform nutritional analysis as part of your work? If so, you need access to a food nutrition database.
Many databases exist, providing nutritional data for food items and recipes. But, what do you do when you cannot find a particular food in your system?
Wouldn’t it be great if you could both search a food database and also create your own food items with macro and micronutrient information? Mealplana offers a solution to this problem.
Today we are launching Mealplana’s knowledge base, called simply Docs. You can access the docs at https://docs.mealplana.com. The docs contain a variety of step-by-step tutorials with screenshots, as well as informative articles regarding the software
Mealplana allows you to edit meal plans using a spreadsheet interface- similar to working on an Excel sheet. Any food/recipe entry you add to the plan is queried in a database on the background, and nutritional information is calculated for you as you type.
